While an apt comment, you have to admit that many here
on this forum (such as Nabby, and possibly even wgm4u) 
would have not the slightest doubt that global warming
was real if Maharishi had said it was. 

For those who cite "authorities," it's not about logic
or anything else, only who they consider to be an 
authority. It's personality worship, not rationality.
