It wasn't. I was hoping that the explanation lay in
a charge of PUI (Posting while Under the Influence).
If it wasn't, then the issue may be more serious, an
inability to tell when one is making sense and when
one is not.

I don't know, and I don't care. All I noticed was that
several posts were made that should have made anyone
in their right mind go "Huh?" I commented because they
didn't seem to. A trend I find dismaying on Fairfield
Life in recent months is that a LOT of people seem to
have lost the discrimination to tell what it gibberish
or outright insanity, and what is some kind of wisdom
or profundity. I get the feeling that a lot of people
here really can't tell the difference any more, either
when they are writing (which is somewhat excusable if
they're caught up in a manic episode, as some of our
posters are from time to time), or when they are reading
(which it is more difficult to find an excuse for).
