Having not seen the Danish series I cannot compare. I'm still not sure why the Danish version of "The Killing" is not available outside of an expensive PAL import DVD in the US. However Netflix help fund the third season on AMC and when it finishes season three will be available on Netflix. Perhaps the Danish series will then be available for streaming. Content creators and owners are funny sometimes and have mistaken ideas about the value of their properties. Only a real die hard fan would buy the region 2 DVDs. Most people would just like to pay a reasonable fee just to watch the series. There is an Indian movie I came across that I'm looking to see if it is available online called "Swaha: Life Beyond Superstition." There are some video links shown to some of the Indian fan sites but the videos don't play. Probably can pick it up for a $1 at the local Indian grocery. It's about a guru who visits the house of one of his devotees who son has gone astray. Sounds like something right up the alley of the folks here. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1633250/
