Folks might want to check to see if there are any flu-shot clinics in the vicinity. According to Google Maps, Hy-Vee has them:

The cost of a flu shot is $25, but may be submitted to insurance for the co-pay price, or Medicare covers 100% of the cost of a flu shot." Remember it takes two weeks for the shot to become effective, so the sooner you get one, the better.
