Unfortunately, most of them couldn't hear, because they had headphones on, listening to recorded sounds of a beach party.

Being curious of this event, I soon finished my food and headed out to the beach riding my bike. When I got to the beach front, I saw about a thousand people gathered on the sand. Most of the people there were wearing headphones and enjoying a nice afternoon under an overcast sky. A couple, a few yards away from the crowd, were making giant soap bubbles with two sticks and a rope in between them. As the gentle wind blew, the bubbles with irridescent outlines would form and fly off onto the wind. The kids would run and try to catch the bubbles as they flew off. Even a black dog got caught in the moment and started chasing the bubbles as they sped off to a nearby hill. As this scene continued, a fog horn from a ship near the shore would sound off as it approached the Golden Gate Bridge. Reminiscent of a movie scene, a flock of seagulls appeared from the mist and flew above the beach. And, the party goers danced off in silence...
