Bhairitu,

Ocean Beach caters the family and tourist crowd. The most risque outfit I saw
was the blue-haired girl's bikini. The party was put on by a company called
Silent Frisco which rents out the headphones for $25 each. And there were DJs
on a high stand who broadcasted their music to the crowd below.

The gay crowd gather at Baker Beach near the Golden Gate Bridge where you'd
see more naked sun bathers and volley ball players.

And given it is San Fran headphones might have been the only thing they had
on.

Unfortunately, most of them couldn't hear, because they had headphones on,
listening to recorded sounds of a beach party.

I heard there was an anti-mime, there, too, loudly explaining the "Silent
Beach Party" concept, to the silent party-goers.

Were they all wearing little tags that said "Silence"?

While eating my cheeseburger for lunch at a diner near the beach, the cook
told me that there was a silent party at the beach. Being curious of this
event, I soon finished my food and headed out to the beach riding my bike.

When I got to the beach front, I saw about a thousand people gathered on the
sand. One girl, with a blue-colored hair and wearing a bikini, was dancing in
silence. Another girl, in a black harem outfit, was boogieng her boody to an
apparent silent music. Most of the people there were wearing headphones and
enjoying a nice afternoon under an overcast sky.

A couple, a few yards away from the crowd, were making giant soap bubbles with
two sticks and a rope in between them. As the gentle wind blew, the bubbles
with irridescent outlines would form and fly off onto the wind. The kids would
run and try to catch the bubbles as they flew off. Even a black dog got caught
in the moment and started chasing the bubbles as they sped off to a nearby hill.

As this scene continued, a fog horn from a ship near the shore would sound off
as it approached the Golden Gate Bridge. Reminiscent of a movie scene, a flock
of seagulls appeared from the mist and flew above the beach. And, the party
goers danced off in silence...
