No, take away the guns from the criminals. Then, you won't have to take anyone
else's guns nor will they have to use them to defend themselves. Taking away
law abiding citizen's guns only makes them vulnerable targets. Of course, you
can't expect the criminally minded to surrender their guns...ever.

There are some issue neither right nor left. It just appears thatsome people
believe that banning guns is a solution but it isn't. The problem is probably
the economy spiraling out of country andthe economic disparity it creates. It
is making many people onthe planet crazy. Solve that instead.
Take away the guns first then solve it. Otherwise people shoot first and ask
questions later.
