No need. You see, Jim's never used that old tried-ant-true TM shuck-and-jive routine that Judy uses when it comes to "experiences." You know the one. Someone asks, "Have you personally had experiences of enlightenment?" And the TM TB says, "We never discucss our experiences," with a big nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean, know what I mean? :-) Obviously this trick worked for Judy when other TM teachers did it to her, so she's hoping it'll work when she does it here (despite her own words to the contrary that remain on the record). Jim has a somewhat more grownup approach to spiritual experience. When the subject comes up, he just describes his. He doesn't categorize them, he doesn't make a big deal about them, and he doesn't dwell on them. He just deals with the question -- honestly -- and moves on. It's a role model that someone who spends as much time posturing as an "honest" person as Judy does might want to pay more attention to. :-) To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
