Only if you have already convinced yourself that
MMY's entire theory of the nature and mechanics
of consciousness, from which he derives his theory
of meditation, is all wrong, in which case you
wouldn't be doing TM anyway.

MMY's criterion for successful meditation has
always been the effect of the practice in
activity,rather than what one experiences in
meditation.
