Non sequitur.  In the first place, the question to 
which the above was a response was speculating about
how the media would react, not the legal situation;
in the second place, this is federal, not state; in
the third place, it's *customary* for the president
not to fire U.S. attorneys without cause, except at
the beginning of the first term.
