Hi! We are studying the possibility to use Fedora to store Geo-spatial data, with relative geo spatial metadata, but we have some question.
Other than Dublin Core, is it possible to use different Xml schema? (for example DClite4G, http://gis.hsr.ch/wiki/DClite4G, or ISO) If not (but probably also if yes), how is possible to manage geospatial metadata? (example we have some geolocated maps and we need to search by geogeraphical region... how Fedora search into DB?) We another question about user management: How users can authenticate in Fedora? Where are stored information about user credential? Who grant access to Fedora repository? Which type of user can add data to repository and which can search into repository? Thanks.
