Hi everyone This is Jagruti. I am from India. I work as a Full Stack Developer in Java.
I started contributing to open source in Feb 2022. First to freeCodeCamp and now to Open Food Facts. It has been three months and I contribute actively to Open Food Facts in Python. I also help with documentation this has helped me learn markdown. I do write articles to explain coding concepts on Medium. Recently one of my articles has been published on freeCodeCamp as well. I have joined the Fedora mailing list for more than a month now and have been following devel lists as well. I wish to contribute to Fedora's documentation. I have followed the instructions given in prerequisites for Fedora docs <https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-docs/contributing/prerequisites/>. My operating system is Windows 11 and I have installed Podman. I am still not sure how to run newly developed features on my local machine, maybe this is something I would figure out along the way. It would be really helpful if someone could help me in getting started on working with documentation. In the future, as and when I get familiar with the code repository, I look forward to contributing to code as well. Right now I dedicate around 2 hours each weekday. And have 10-12 hours on weekend. I would be happy to start contributing to Fedora in any way possible. Thanks & Regards, Jagruti _______________________________________________ fedora-join mailing list -- fedora-join@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to fedora-join-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/fedora-join@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
