Yah, I have bought some really wonderful crafted and unique tequillas
in Mexico and in California - both Aguave and Mescal. My personal
taste in tequilla and alcohol in general is full bodied, full flavored
and smooth. According to one test I had, I am a super taster - just
means I have more taste buds. Al I know is I have a good pallette that
despite being a smoker I can often taste subleties and different
distinct flavors as well as the blend. But a sharp liquor
(Encompassing all varieties for this sentence) basically kills that
for me. All I can feel then is pain :-). Maybe that is why I have such
a problem with oil based peppers and no problem tossing a big hunk of
Wasabi in my mouth.
