Thanks for all the advice - tonight I will fulfill my girlfriend's
wish of seeing me epicly drunk. I bought a bottle of Lagavulin 16 and
a bottle of Bowmore Dark, along with a bottle of Tres Generaciones.
But think I will stick with the Lagavulin for tonight. I will try it
neat, on the rocks and with a drop of water - results of this
experiment will be posted to my facebook.

Only dissapointing thing so far is I wanted to try the Distillers Cask
of the Lagavulin - you would think in a shoppe that boasts over 400
different bottles of scotch, that would be easy, but they are out
until Nov 1.

Next time I guess, or I can just go to St. Andrews and arrange a
flight for tasting
