We could migrate all that stuff into trac. There's not too much over
there :(

Okay, then I'll just keep mirroring it to keep trac up to date, but the
live repository will stay on sourceforge.

hahaha :) It's so crazy you've never even heard of it. git is the
version control system made by Linus Torvolds, and is incredibly fast.
It's now being used by the kernel, x.org, wine, and other large
projects. It's super fast, and has some neat properties, like it being
completely distributed, and wonderful merging tools:

I'm not seriously proposing that we switch though. If we ever did
branching, sure, but it's not a big deal.

Thats true, but it can take an awfully long time to do anything.

I'll look into this. We could hack around it though.

Well, this is the same group that archives the usenet posts. We don't
have great guarantees, but I think it can be pretty reliable. What if I
figure out some way to archive the mailing list on our own? It shouldn't
be too difficult, just create an address that archives emails.

hehe :) but sourceforge is so slow and bloated.

The problem with mailman is that I don't know how to link a post to a
web-based forum, and have them feed back to each other :(

for future reference, I already created felix-language here:
