I personally think that giving FeLV vaccines to FeLV cats is a very very bad idea (my holistic and regular vet both agrees) - regardless what type of vaccines you are giving, it will suppress their immune systems, and during the time, you will risk it (vaccines) triggering the very disease you are trying to protect them from or any other disease - I read an article where, Felv cats vaccinated against Felv, and it triggered FIP - they believed that the vaccine did not necessarily trigger FIP - but when giving the vaccine, the immune was suppressed, and it caused FIP to happen.

One of my adult cats (prob. 5-8 years old -- rescue cat so we were unsure of age) was at the Vet's and without thinking, they gave him the FeLV vaccine. Shortly thereafter, he started a downward spiral and it only got worse, eventually (w/i 7 mos) I PTS. Now, it could be a coincidence, but it made me uneasy. I have heard what you are saying, but until there is more info, I doubt I would intentionally do that. Maybe others have had a more positive experience.
