I should explain that we have a dog who stays in the basement as well. He has a
flap in the regular door where he can come and go as he pleases. When I let
Amber out, I have to shut the flap so he is either in or out for a while. When
she is in the palace, I can leave the flap open. It has taken some adjustments
for everyone, including my dog Samson. He is a country dog with lots of country
smells so that is why he lives in the basement. LOL

Jannes,

Is there access from the house or do you take her out there?
