Our poor little babies. All of my animals are rescue situations. They would
sure
have stories to tell if they could talk!

Amber sounds like my Lil Bit.  She spends all day in my bedroom on the bed
coming down only to use her box and drink from her wate bowl in the shower.  I
tried taking her outide and she clung to me and would not get down.  She was
shaking so that I took her back inside.  I got her from Pals (no kill shelter)
at the age of 10.  Before that se belonged to a pet sitter  (who had 23 cats).
She had a large chain link fenced area for her cats.  I know she took good care
of her babies but what happened to Lil Bit before that heaven only knows.  Like
you say, I wish they could talk, then maybe we could help them overcome their
fears.
