I agree, I would get a different vet and not put my kitty to sleep on the off chance that she "might get sick and die" earlier than we thought she would. Animals, like people live for different lengths of time. I had a FeLuk positive kitty that lived to be 16 years old but had a FeLuk negative kitty that died of a stroke when he was 12. I say let her live, enjoy her and don't end her life before her time.
