I'm on Windows. There's no compiler.
There are many compilers* for windows, including MS Visual Studio and
MinGW/MSYS2, which supports both the gcc and clang 'c' compilers. They
all can be downloaded for free. (Please don't object that wondoze
doesn't come with a complier, there are a lot of useful things not
included but most folks manage to get them.)
*for many languages- c/c++, basic, cobol, forth, fortran, lisp, pascal,
go, PL/I(!), rust, etc etc
