As written by Bouke : "Bullshit. H.265 IS LOSSY ...the best quality is ‘visually
lossless’... but look/trust your eyes. " ?????
So, is there a question in here I’m missing?
Was something I said unclear? Did you toy around already with the suggestions I
gave you? And have posted the output of FFmpeg as others have requested?
That all is less work than you seem to put in writing mails.
We can’t help you if you don’t try to help yourself.

Refer tohttps://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/H.265#Losslessencoding

Lossless encoding

Use the |-x265-params lossless=1| option. Adding |-crf 0| is not required.

You can verify lossless encoding by looking for |x265 [info]: lossless compression
ratio| in the console output from your encoding command, or refer to the hash
demuxer<https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-formats.html#hash> for verification.

First, if you quote me, do NOT quote me out of context. I stated that H 264 in
best quality was visually lossless. I did not make any claim about H 265 as I
don’t know.
But, the fact that H 265 CAN be lossless has absolutely no meaning at all for
your situation, as you don’t use it.

So this is a totally pointless conversation. And again, you cannot compare the
quality of an encoder with the original if you add effects in the mix. Of
course the output will differ from the original.

You stated also in the first answer "Bullshit. H.265 IS LOSSY....". It seems to me you did forget it.

But I agree, we should concentrate to the point of compression and its quality. If its possible to change the pixel format without any *image distortion, give me the respective hint to the parameters. Or if there are special parameter to handle non square pixel format, I did nothing found. *
