I just read a review of a book about lichens in a recent Science magazine. This is not a book about lichen dyeing, but about lichens. So, any of you who is interested in lichens for their own sake, this seems perfect - at least for North America. The photographs are beautiful enough that maybe even licking lichens isn't essential. You can just leave it on the coffee table.
