Saturday, May 25; Missouri Spring Wildflower Walk (Dillard Daffodil Dalliance) and Fiber Festival (Fabulous Fiber Frolic). Dillard Mill State Historic Site, MO. The guided wildflower walk will start in the parking lot at 10:00 AM. The Fabulous Fiber Frolic will be down near the mill and will have a dying workshop emphasizing the use of native plants. Bring your dye pots and your favorite dye plant and share the fun. If you�re not into dying bring your spinning wheels, carders, etc. and do your own thing. A limited number of electric hookups are available for running electric spinners and heaters for dye pots. I will be running dye pots with sumac, black oak, walnut and who knows what other �weed� I might come up with between now and then. Both events are free. If you have spouses that aren�t interested in the above but are anglers there is always the millpond and they can have a Fishing Frenzy.
