When I hear others south of me are having winter weather I cringe to think how long it is going to last up north here. The bonus to all the snow is the wonderful soft water I get to do natural dyeing with. I am amazed at the results I'm getting compared to my tap water. Trying to finish a pair of hemp/wool socks that have turned into 3 pairs as I keep messing up the cable and getting different sizes. Why I can't count to six is baffling. I'm hoping the hemp in the yarn will add to the durability but only the test of time will tell. Vanda
