Wishing it won't make it happen Joni. They have been in trouble since they started. They are big "D" Democrats (with the exception of Mike Malloy). Their hosts are not leftists. They're not even radical liberals. They are most definitely not radical leftists and they are not socialists. Personally I won't contribute to subsidizing Al Franken. Tell me why you like him? Is it because he thinks he is funny - or do you think he is funny? Do you like John Stewart or Bill Maher (Libertarian)? If you want funny, watch the comedy channel. If you want serious and left, check out the 20,000 audiocasts now on the net. Download a downloader that works for you and download them. Listen to them on a portable player or on your computer at your own time. But if you have to have radio, ask you NPR station to get decent programming (and see what is available via syndication) and not just classical music. OR, get a satellite radio.
