I just hope people will remember what happened in the late 90s and
early 2000s when the seminars sucked.
There was a mad rush to provide and get CPE points to the point that
the quality degraded.
I remember a point in time when everyone ran out of topics and
resorted to adding "... and beyond..." to everything and anything.
I remember a point in time when all the seminars were overbooked.

I just hope it won't happen again.

I mean, I still believe that CPE as a moral obligation is okay.
I just hope that making it a legal obligation won't make history repeat itself.
