I have found that my drives and software seem to burn TIFF and PSD files at their own pace, no matter what I select for speed. I have an 6X DVD burner I use with Roxio. No matter what speed I select, the actual speed is usually 1x to 2x. CDs also burn slower than selected or optimum speed.
