It is an odd error isn't it.... And having changed that articulation back
from Maestro to Petrucci (as Mark so logically suggested to change fonts -
thanks!) solved the problem. Which would then mean.... and I find it hard
to believe.... that there is a problem with that symbol in the Maestro font
that no-one else has come across?

Yes, different printers.... all lasers. Xerox Docuprint N2825, HP LaserJet
2200, HP LaserJet 4100.... and others as well. From memory, printing from
my Kyocera FS1000+ may have also had that problem. All are/were using the
absolutely latest drivers. Problems with that symbol occurred when printing
directly from Finale and from Acrobat.... it all points to a problem with
the font, but it just seems so strange that with all these engravers out
there, I've never heard anyone mention this before!

Anyone else had this problem? Or perhaps it is still just me?
Now is the time to spill! : )

Best wishes,
Angela
