[Finale] Help with keyboard midi hookup

Just upgraded into the current century [P4, 512 Ram, using an ASRock G Pro motherboard with built in audio, video and Lan] and I'm trying to hook up my keyboard.  I'm using a midi\gamebox split cable attached to the game port.  The computer will recognize the yoke I have hooked to the cable, but Finale will not acknowledge that the keyboard is present [in the input section it lists only "none"].  Any suggestions?  You may email me directly.
