Thanks for adding your experience, David (F).  It sounds like you had the
same thing happen as David van Ooijen did.

Mine is different, because it seems to happen everywhere, including new
default documents with only one stave, where I have made no changes of what
clef I was working on.

I have started a dialogue with winsupport about it, so hopefully they'll
come up with something for me.

In the meantime, I've learned a lot about Simple Entry that I never knew
before.
