Well, templates are just .MUS files and can be altered as you wish, but you
know that. There would indeed be only one articulation of a given type in a
Coda-supplied template.

"Copy" isn't the rght word, in that metatools can't be copied in the sense
of a library. As I recall, last  time I checked, if you were to load a
library of articulations or expressions into an open document, no metatools
would accompany them. This is something I wish were different about Finale,
in that sometimes (for example, a music editor) you are working with someone
else's file. 

But of course you CAN create what metatools you wish for your own templates
and each time you use that template they will be available.
