Friends:

1) In search of "condensed" typefaces for use in lyrics, I have bee
collecting some of the inexpensive CD's containing Fonts available in
certain computer stores. There are a number of inexpensive Discs
available; if you purchase one of them, "1,111 Selected Fonts" from the
German firm, hemming GmBH, you get a bonus: the disc contains the
"Sonata Music font." I bought the disk at a local computer store for
the whopping price of $9.95 (US). I also note that this disc would be a
good source of "handwritten" typefaces that might provide the font
numbers Darcy is looking for.

2) If you use fonts from a third party source in a music file, make
certain that you make note of the fact in your log, or in the comment
block in the file. This informatino will be useful in the event you
decide to share the actual data file.
