Did everyone on the list receive this? I've not been reading closely the last day or so (too busy), and didn't see it go through my inbox.
I got it, and just deleted it. I am sad to report that a friend of mine, who should know better, was actually almost taken in by a similar African Nation Leader etc etc. scam, and was all ready to send off five thousand Euros to one of these scum. Fortunately we had a lunch date just before she did it, an I went ballistic and told her she was being had... and she didn't do it (unless she already had and was too embarrassed to tell me). I'm told there are whole families in several African countries who are supporting themselves with this, and similar, Internet scams. What makes me sadder than the fact that they exist is that there are people who fall for it...
