The main thing I was looking forward to with 2004 was listening to my work with the "new realistic" sound fonts.
Well, the sound is terrible. I see in the manual that you have to make sure that the sound card is sound font compatible. I don't understand. Does this mean that the new sound fonts have to be somehow loaded into the sound card, or will that automatically take place with a sound font compatible sound card? How satisfied have everyone else been with the sound of the new fonts?
