If you have staves at 60% and below it will look really peculiar unless the line thicknesses are somewhat scaled.

This is why it never pays to rely on other people's common sense. Let me now explain the obvious.


My request for a fixed-line-thickness option was not a request that said thickness be fixed at Finale's 100% value, but rather at a value to be established by the user, which typically would be the globally established page/system/staff reduction of the file. The value of the fixed-thickness option would be that individual pages/systems/staves that required a higher degree of reduction would retain the same line thicknesses as the body of the score.

Duh.

The same goes for my subsidiary request for fixed dot sizes.
