In addition the setting for grace note spacing in the document options has no effect whatsoever on the spacing of grace notes when using note spacing. The only effect this setting has is on unspaced music, or when it is changed after music spacing. The only setting that has any influence on grace notes in spaced music is the minimum distance between items in the music spacing options. Perhaps if many people complain about this non-feature MakeMusic will finally see the need to sort out grace note spacing properly.
