This happened a couple of versions ago in response to all of our complaints about not being able to find the note that some of the articulations had been attached to. Sometimes certain markings (fermatas over barlines) are placed over a note and then dragged. They may be placed on the last note before the barline or the first note after the barline. So there was much complaining about not being able to edit/delete/move those articulations without much extra clicking trying to find the note they were attached to.

Coda's response was very much welcome by most users -- now handles appear on all the objects that belong to a certain tool whenever that tool is selected. Until this message I don't recall anybody complaining about this since the change in behavior.

But I can certainly understand your frustration. Try a higher percentage for your editing. The handle will remain the same size but the articulation will be larger so you will be better able to see which one you are editing.

I don't recall this happening before, but now, when I use the articulation tool, ALL the articulations in the score have handles. In normal-size view (100%), these handles hide all my articulations! Is there any way to get rid of the handles, and see the articulations? This is a rather urgent problem, because I have many examples with fingerings to correct, and I can no longer read the articulations themselves without swithing to some other tool.

Thanks,

Dennis
