Yes, I read this when it came out. As a longtime Windows user, I would be very upset to see Apple lose its OS. Apple is to me an excellent test bed for new ideas, and the good ones make it into the mainstream -- so we only have to suffer failures from the Windows developers, who sometimes afflict us with the worst ideas.
