Actually, cmd-opt-` (the Fin2005 shortcut) *is* reserved by OS X.

Cmd-E is a lot easier to reach than cmd-opt-` anyway. I'm glad they made the change, even if I sometimes go for the wrong combo when I forget which version of Finale I'm in. 

But anyway, if you use QuicKeys or iKey, you can make it whatever you want.

Are you sure? It was cmd-opt~ on my kbds (French and U.K. layout) with 2005. It was even something else way back many versions before, but my patience has worn too thin to bother finding it. This key stroke was not an OS thing, so it needn't have been changed.
