I didn't see anything there that was impossible in Finale, though it
would take a day or more, I would think. Jef chipewa certainly could
do it! (you can mail me my cheque for the free publicity, jef!) 8-)
hm, i was about to say i could do it in finale but was beaten to the punch.
i've already noted a number of errors in the score that would need
correcting, as well as a number of performance instructions that were
obviously written too hastily, without the larger implications of
such performance protocols being implemented in a work of such <ahem>
calibre.
for example, i would suggest in the performance notes that the cows
be fed (if really necessary) but not given liquids 4hrs before the
performance and that the faucet in the greem room is left on full for
the 30 minutes before performance (you should be able to figure out
ther rest...). also if i remember correctly, it is not stated in
the score whether the cows are to be moved on stage during the piece,
or if they are already on stage when it begins... further to this
point, is their performance to be considered part of the scenery
(aspects of design to be taken into consideration?) or intended as
"purely" musico-theatrical elements?
i would say it is a good first sketch for the piece, but needs serious editing.
