Yes, there are numerous ways to combine PDFs in Acrobat.
What you say is true, of course, but on the Mac, I recommend
something like the free program "Combine PDFs" because it does the
job faster and easier. The last time I tried rearranging pages in
Acrobat, I was waiting around with the spinning beach ball too often.
