[Finale] Beaming over rests

Using FinMac 2K7, is there a way to have Finale beam over rests, NOT  
globally, but on a case by case basis.  This has been lacking in  
every version, and I've just accepted that.  Now a client want's a  
specific look and I don't see any options via the Document Options,  
Staff Styles, or even plug-ins, including Robert's.

Any suggestions?
