[Finale] OT: AppleScript Help

Does anyone know anything about Applescript? I'm adding page numbers to a large 
PDF document and I want to right justify the numbers on the odd pages so that 
multiple digit page numbers don't grow into the margins.
Apple Tech Support wouldn't give me an answer since they don't support 
AppleScript anymore...
Feel free to reply off list.
