Um, TIF is not an MSPaint format -- it is a standard graphics format
that is not proprietary nor connected to any particular graphics
editing program. That is, what program you use to create it is

I just have a feeling that lot of us who have butted heads into that
particular Finale error message have have done so after using the
omnipresent Windows program, which includes has no option for saving
uncompressed.
