I would say that the strength in Lilypond's graphics is their sharpness, and not always their design.
In what sense are Lilipond graphics "sharper" than Finale's? I don't understand.
Were I to use Lilpond, I think I would tweak a few of the glyphs (as I have with Maestro).
Sure, but the fact remains, that the look of their examples suffers tremendously because of the silly treble clefs, at least imo.
