You can try this: 1) set your tuplets the way you want in the doc options. 2) with the Selection tool, highlight all the measures you want to change. 3) In the Utilities menu, choose Change>Tuplets... 4) A new Tuplet dialog window should appear. Click the "Reset" button, the OK. All the tuplets in the highlighted measure should convert to the settings you defined.
