Yes yes, Open Source will be the panacea that will solve everything because DRM 
is killing everything. And Linux will be talking over the market in 2002....no 
2003....wait...2004...erg....2005.....no.....2006.....eh.....2007?......2008!......maybe
 2009?.....2010!.....no no, 2011 for sure! 

I don't think I'd want Finale 3.2 resurrected on a modern platform anymore than 
I'd want Photoshop 1.0 even if the source code was available and someone toiled 
on it for no financial gain to make it run. What happens if something goes 
wrong? What if my Score for this Grammy piece I was working on yesterday didn't 
save or won't open anymore. Or if none of them open anymore? 

I'll stick to paid software thanks. I just wish MakeMusic would the foresight 
to include things like saving to older versions of Finale, or importing old 
Finale files in without messing things up.
