Generally right, but I need to write a measure of two feel or double time feel
(with HH stomps) in order to get drummers who don't know the styles
(surprisingly - many professional drummers) to play them correctly. Sometimes
the notation works, sometimes not. I still have to sit down at the drums and
muddle through an imitation of the styles. Tha usually works, because I sound
so bad that they concentrate on learning the patterns quickly, so they don't
have to listen to me.
