The usual choices, but whichever I pick, my choice doesn't stay. The problem is solved. It turned out to be the MIDI cable. I have a cable with two plugs. I used the other plug and now everything works fine. I can inpit music with the MIDI keyboard and listen while I input. Finale still has no MIDI output, it says, though.
