I also do this all the time with InDesign. I export pages as pdf with the graphics tool, then use InDesign to crop to the bits I need, rather than trying to select them individually in Finale with the graphics tool. I used to use PageMaker but that's no longer supported on a Mac. Pages is an inexpensive alternative, but any page layout program should work.
